The World Wide Web

When this photograph was taken in 1995, the “world wide web” was still in its early days, and UConn students like the one pictured here had plenty of questions about it. Today, the University is blanketed with Wi-Fi service that brings the internet to faculty, staff, students, and visitors ­— and they don’t even need to find a telephone jack.
