Did you know that Marching Band has an asphalt football field between Husky Village and Charter Oak? With a five-story command tower? This weekend is Homecoming, so the call-and-response from directors and choreographers on the tower and musicians on the field is extra. A tuning cacophony transforms into a symphony while the human blob turns into a dragon. They're practicing songs from "Wicked" and "How to Train Your Dragon," as well as Journey's "Separate Ways," for which they'll be joined by some 200 alums from the 1970s through 2024, a longstanding Homecoming tradition.
